It is clear that Internet Governance Institute has its own dimension of functioning. Yes, Babu was the one of founder but he is not in ISOC Nepal activities. No conflict of interest applies here. IGI is a not for profit organization, established by senior people of the sector and intended for a wider involvement of the community. Involvement of senior people does not mean it is elitist. ISOC Nepal recommend for the approval.

Satish and I spoke to Babu Ram who is the CEO of this organisation while we were in Russia.  It appears to be a formal organisation but I am concerned that a senior member of another ALS (the ISOC Chapter) is also a Director of this organisation. I thought at one stage tha Babu was a member of the ISOC Chapter but apparently he has set this up separately. It seems a bit elitist - do you think?  People can't get in without specific approval. Not totally open.
