I've no idea how NMI was translated into GIGA, but it is very clear that no one ever in China uses "multilateral" to replace "multi-stakeholder" (so I definitely disagree with that Chinese presenter's observation at AP regional IGF). As Vanda said, multilateral is only used to refer to international relation or international law. I created a Chinese word for "pluri-lateral" though.
