Digital Dialogues series on Internet Governance organized by BIF
and BE along with the support of CCAOI, TDSI and with ICRIER
as Knowledge Partner.
The second session
of the series, is scheduled on Friday, 3rd July 2020, 10:30
IST onwards.
This series of The Digital Dialogues
is focused towards building awareness among the Indian stakeholders on key
aspects of Internet Governance, the different organisations involved, key
issues and concerns being globally discussed and opportunities for the
community to participate.
Session 2: Role of Internet Governance Platforms: ICANN &
ISOC/IETF
The second session of the series will deliberate on the role of
Internet Governance organizations, such as ICANN, Internet Society and IETF,
including the issues being discussed in these forums which are of interest to
India. The session would also be deliberating on the existing Indian engagement
in these forums so far along with a dialogue on ways to enhance engagement of
Indian stakeholders.
We have invited Dr. Gulshan Rai,
Distinguished Fellow, ORF, as Chief Guest for the session. Mr. Anupam Agarwal, Chair
- India Internet Foundation; Mr. T Santhosh, Scientist E, MeitY; Mr. Rajnesh
Singh, Regional Vice President, Asia-Pacific, Internet Society, IETF; Mr.
Samiran Gupta, Head of India, ICANN and Mr. Molay Ghosh, Reliance Jio will
provide special addresses in the same.
