I note on their website that their Board members are identified, and its good to see a women at their meetings, and a women's empowerment specialist on their Board.  They look very organised and busy in their community.. and for their members.

Staff, in any of our documents, do we ask how long applicant organisations have been operating?? 

This group looks firmly established, but I was wondering with some other ALSes that we have lost touch with, it would be interesting to know how long they were operating before they applied to become members.  Some groups may not have been with each other long and for members to be interested enough to stay with them, and us.
