Dear All, As requested by APRALO, an At-Large community briefing call on Whois is being planned. This briefing call will include a brief background on Whois as well as a review of the recommendations in the WHOIS Policy Review Team Draft Report, especially on consumer trust, security, privacy and anonymity. Guest speakers will be: * Liz Gasster (Senior Policy Counselor, ICANN Policy Support) Introduction to Whois. * Seth Reiss (At-Large representative to the Whois RT) Review of the Whois RT report. * Jim Galvin (VC of the SSAC) The concerns of the SSAC on Whois. This briefing call will provide information related to the public comment on the WHOIS Policy Review Team Draft Report < http://www.icann.org/en/public-comment/whois-rt-draft-final-report-05dec11- en.htm> that is open through 18 March 2012.
