Dear All,

On behalf of Jonathan Zuck, Chair of the ALAC Appointee Selection Committee, this is a call for the selection of two (2) volunteers to fill the roles of Members to the Review of Reviews Cross Community Group (CCG). Any member of the ALAC/At-Large community is eligible to apply for one of the slots. Candidates must ALAC Expression of Interest (EOI) Form and submit it by email to At-Large staff (staff@atlarge.icann.org) no later than Friday, 15 August 2025 at 23:59 UTC.

Purpose

The purpose of the CCG is to manage a fundamental evaluation of the following reviews set out in the ICANN Bylaws, as a whole system, including their implementation, and propose a refreshed system of reviews. The reviews and their past outcomes to be evaluated include:

• Periodic review of ICANN structure and operations (section 4.4),
• Annual Review (section 4.5) and
• Specific Reviews (section 4.6); and
• Previously conducted Reviews; and
• Reviews that have previously been formally recommended.

Responsibilities

Candidates should review the Review of Reviews Members hip Requirements in the 'Members and Observers' section of the Draft Review of Reviews Charter to understand the scope of the requirements and duties.

Skills and Experience

Individually, candidates are expected to meet the following criteria:

• Have sufficient expertise and understanding of the ICANN reviews to participate in the discussions
• Commit to actively participate in the activities of the CCG on an ongoing basis; and
• Where appropriate, solicit and communicate the views and concerns of individuals in the group that nominates them.

This is in addition to the criteria that are intended to be met by the group as detailed in the 'Members and Observers' section of the draft charter.

Selection Process and Timeline

The AASC will review the EOIs and select two (2) candidates for endorsement by the At-Large Advisory Committee (ALAC).

In your EOI submission, please answer the following questions:

1. Name

2. Country of Residence

3. What is your interest in this position?

4. What is your knowledge of and/or experience in ICANN org and Reviews work, or other related work at ICANN?

5. What skills and attributes do you have that will assist you in becoming a member of this Review of Reviews CCG?

6. What is your knowledge of ICANN’s mission and relevant policies?

7. Are you able to commit the time required and necessary work needed for this work?

8. Do you have any affiliation with or involvement in any organization or entity with any financial or non-financial interest in ICANN org and/or this work?

9. Please include a link to an up-to-date Statement of Interest (SOI)

 The selection timeline is as follows:

• 8 August-15 August 2025 – Call for EOIs
• 18 August-19 August 2025 – AASC Review of EOIs
• 20 August-21 August 2025 – ALAC Consensus Call
• 22 August 2025 – Staff submit names of ALAC Nominated CCG Members
