NOW OPEN: APRALO Vote on Recommended ALAC Delegate to the NomCom
Dear All, We have been asked by the Chair of APRALO, Professor Hong Xue, to start an online vote to determine the APRALO-recommended ALAC Delegate to the Nominating Committee (NomCom). Siranush Vardanyan and Dr. V.C. Vivekanandan have both accepted their nomination for the position of ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the Asia, Australasia and Pacific Islands Region before the close of the acceptation period on August 10th. They are are both eligible. The question to be put will be the following: Who should APRALO recommend that the ALAC appoint as the NomCom representative from the Asia, Australasia and Pacific Islands Region, for a term running from the end of the 2010 AGM* to the end of the 2011 AGM? With possible answers: Siranush Vardanyan Dr. V.C. Vivekanandan Abstain * AGM stands for ICANN Annual General Meeting. The 2010 AGM will be held from December 5th to December 10th in Cartagena, Colombia. A separate email with their voting credentials was sent to the APRALO ALS representatives recently. You find the current ALS representative list which has been updated according to comments received on the previous list published on August 4th, attached below.
