Here are my suggestions for the discussion: 1. What issues we want to resolve? Please list item by item, so we will not discuss the issue too many times. And we keep wandering around, and go nowhere. 2. During the conference, we should discuss the issue item by item. Never try to jump around the issue, or we can not solve the problem. Before we make the teleconference, we might need to discuss LARALO or Europe model. And I already present my thinking. That is "each ALS to sign MOU with ICANN, not RALO". Two reasons: (1) ALS is a real entity, RALO is not yet, and a long way to go. If we like to make RALO as an entity, we can do it later. As my experience as APNIC, APNIC running as a "virtual" organization for more than 4 years before APNIC registered as an entity now. (2) ALS is the "core" of whole idea (Izumi is one of the original designers). No ALS, no RALO, and of course no "ALAC member". ALS is kind of membership of APNIC. APNIC survival is based on its membership. One of the major principles of ICANN "bottom up". We should respect each ALS to have its right to sign MOU with ICANN. If any one of you has issue for discussion, please list it as soon as possible before we go to teleconference. If the teleconference operates as last time, I will prefer face-to-face meeting.
