Assume Person A gets a score of 15 Assume Person B gets a score of 30 Assume Person C gets a score of 45 The numbers 15, 30 and 45 are rare scores Assumption is for Person A, each ALAC member chooses Person A as preferred candidate and have awarded 1 point by each ALAC member. Assumption is for Person B, each ALAC member chooses Person B as preferred candidate and have awarded 2 points by each ALAC member. Assumption is for Person C, each ALAC member chooses Person C as preferred candidate and have awarded 3 points by each ALAC member. The other assumption is that every ALAC member has voted. In this instance Person A, with the total raw score of 15 is the most preferred candidate. Sent from my iPad On Jul 17, 2013, at 1:59 PM, Fouad Bajwa <fouadbajwa@gmail.com> wrote:

"Rare" should read as "raw" Sent from my iPad On Jul 17, 2013, at 2:19 PM, Salanieta Tamanikaiwaimaro <salanieta.tamanikaiwaimaro@gmail.com> wrote:
Assume Person A gets a score of 15 Assume Person B gets a score of 30 Assume Person C gets a score of 45
The numbers 15, 30 and 45 are rare scores
Assumption is for Person A, each ALAC member chooses Person A as preferred candidate and have awarded 1 point by each ALAC member.

So basically if a person gathers supporting voters and they vote, he or she loses?

Person A Person B Person C
If (#1) is most preferred and (#3) is least preferred
Then if all of ALAC shows its preferences, then the person with least score wins. It is a bit confusing at first. But after they add the scores, they will see who has the least raw score.
Raw score meaning total sum of scores, that is sum of ALAC scores/preferential.
On the issue of questioning the procedural and processes, you a after the date in which names were submitted and you are imputing that names were added after the closed deadline?
I am unclear about the question on your point on process flaw.

Dear All,
As a point of clarification, Satish Babu won.
Please note that this poll was a preferential poll with the voters being asked to place candidates in their order of preference from 1 to 3, with 1 being the most preferred and 3 being the least preferred. As such, the candidate with the highest preferred votes will have the lowest raw score.
