Call For Session for the Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum 2021 (Last Date Of Submission 15 October, 2021)
Dear Colleagues, Greetings from Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum! We trust the mail finds you in good health. We have the pleasure to inform you that Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum2021will be held on 05 & 06 November 2021 at Hybrid Format & this year the program theme is ‘Internet United’. Hence, Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum is seeking presentations content for Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum 2021. Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum (BIGF) is a multi-stakeholder organization aimed to illuminate issues and create ideas on internet usage in Bangladesh in association with the UN Internet Governance Forum (UN IGF). As usual, we are making a call for people to submit proposals for talks in Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum 2021 that would be of interest to the internet users’ community, i.e. technical presentations and not expecting sales talks. We strongly encourage you to hear from the contributors. Hence, we are especially interested in contributors who can share what they know! (For example, sharing experiences about COVID-19 impacts, deployments, or other things that may impact the activities of IGF). Notes to Presenter Preference will be given to thought-provoking/controversial or technological advancement presentations that result in actual operational outcomes. Speaking slots are typically 30 minutes, including Q&A time, although we can accommodate a limited number of requests for 45 minutes slots. We would also entertain requests for 15 minutes presentations. There will be a call for lightning talks (5 minutes) after the sessions. By submitting a presentation for consideration in the Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum 2021 program, and if selected the presenter will allow Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum to: • Take photographs of the presentation and presenter • Record and rebroadcast video and audio of the presentation and presenter • Redistribute the presentation slides, audio, video, and photographs electronically, on the Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum website, or otherwise but leaving all intellectual property in the hands of the presenter or rightful property holder. Deadline • Submission of presentation title, presentation description (250-500 words), and presenter biography (150 words): 15 October 2021 • Presenters will be notified of their acceptance status as a Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum 2021 presenter: 20 October 2021 • Submission of final presentation slides as *PowerPoint or Keynote*(<10MB) and a recent digital photograph (<500KB) of the presenter: 20 October 2021 All submissions MUST be sent by email to info@bangladeshigf.orgor call us at +8809696936241. NB: Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum accepts that some speakers are unable to allow us to archive their presentation due to company or corporate policy, and if the situation arises Bangladesh Internet Governance Forum will delete all copies in its possession after the presentation.
