Remaining IPv4 address at IANA 10% campaign
Dear colleagues, Please find attached a briefing note from APNIC in regards to the issue of IPv4 running out. As mentioned in the document it is expected that IANA will reach a low of 10% IPv4 addresses this January. As you probably already know, the AP region will be the first to experience this allocation shortage (Izumi presentation et al). I have also asked to be included in the updates and media list so that i can keep you all informed of the status and material APNIC are sending out. I hope you will pass this information on to your AP networks. I will also privately email a few of our own IPv4-IPv6 experts and see if we can ask one or both of them to join a phone conference that we can ask questions etc. I hope we can then have that part of our call recorded so you may download it and share with your networks. Regards, Karaitiana Taiuru
Shall we include this on the agenda for the next meeting? I certainly think so Pavan On Fri, Jan 15, 2010 at 10:07 AM, Karaitiana Taiuru < karaitiana@taiuru.maori.nz> wrote:
