Call for APSIG Program Committee Members
Dear APSIG Community Members, We are in the process of expanding and re-constituting the Program Committee (PC) for APSIG 2021, for which we invite applications from interested Members. The following are the prerequisites for applicants: 1. Prior experience in organizing APSIG or programs of similar in nature. 2. Good knowledge of the APSIG community, target audience, and past editions. 3. Expertise in technical areas that APSIG will be deliberating on, such as AI Governance, Access, diversity, Cyber Security, Data Governance, Social Media Governance, etc. Expectations from PC members: - PC member duties include designing the theme and sessions of the annual APSIG meeting, locating speakers, designing the sessions, organizing the program, eliciting feedback after the event, and reviewing the effectiveness of the program to provide recommendations for the following years. - The PC shall report to the APSIG EC and community from time to time. - The term for a PC member is 2 years. - PC members are not entitled to travel support to attend APSIG but are encouraged to attend through other means.
