I thank them all for their past support and hope that they will accept and support my reasons for this action. After consulting with my Pacific ALS (CIIAG), PICISOC members and other colleagues, the impending ALAC election (whether immediate or delayed) has caused me to revise my options for the future, and to make an alternative decision. I believe that I could more effectively work on behalf of APRALO and for ALAC , by standing for the position of APRALO representative on the ALAC. Excellent support for Holly's leadership of APRALO is already assured by the remaining candidates for the Vice Chair position. I wish them all well in the upcoming election.
