During ICANN79 public work sessions, the ASO AC reviewed a timeline to complete these two tasks and had a discussion about the principles in creating an updated version of the ICP-2. Highlights · ASO AC reviewed a timeline and identified opportunities to collect feedback from the Regional Internet Registry (RIR) communities and ICANN community in 2024 and 2025 · ASO AC held substantial discussions on which principles should be included in drafting an updated version of the ICP-2 · ASO AC partnered with the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority (IANA) to offer a public information session, “Let’s Talk About Numbers,” featuring a presentation on the allocation of the number resources.
