ACTION - Q3 2025 call to join APRALO Policy Forum (APF)
Dear APRALO Members, Given that APRALO has in the last several months welcomed new At-Large Structure (ALS) members as well as Individual Members (IMs), we are making a fresh call for volunteers to join the APRALO Policy Forum (APF) on behalf of its Chair, Justine Chew. The APRALO Leadership Team intends to evolve the APF's aims to cover ICANN governance matters in addition to ICANN policy development. As a result, its aims have been updated:- 1. Encourage engagement of APRALO members on issues within ICANN's remit 2. Facilitate informed, inclusive regional position development on issues within ICANN's remit 3. Support APRALO Leadership's participation as a regional partner to relevant At-Large Working Groups 4. Grow APRALO outreach opportunities within the AP region and with other RALOs and ICANN communities on ICANN issues 5. Provide suggestions on AP regional issues of interest which may fall within ICANN’s remit. How would we achieve these aims? By: 1. Informing the APRALO Community on ICANN issues. 2. Engaging the APRALO Community in At-Large discussions on ICANN issues 3. Consulting the APRALO Community to formulate input on ICANN issues. 4. Building the capacity of the APRALO Community to effectively participate on ICANN issue deliberations 5. Participating in inter-RALO discourse on ICANN issues 6. Creating intra-regional discourse & cooperation opportunities to advocate for individual end user interests For more information on APF and its activities, please visit the APF wiki space [icann-community.atlassian.net]<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/icann-community.atlassian.net/wiki/x/OOrd...>. If you would like to join the APF, please e-mail At-Large staff <mailto:staff@atlarge.icann.org> by 8 August 2025, 23:59 UTC so that you can be included in the APF mailing list to start receiving updates on engagement opportunities soon after. The APRALO Leadership Team would also like to thank all past members of the APF for their engagement and contributions. Thank you. On behalf of Justine Chew Chair, APRALO Policy Forum (APF)
