Selection Schedule for ALAC Members, RALO Leadership, and ALAC Delegates to the NomCom: * 14 April 2025 - Announcement of call for nominations and Nominee's Statement.* (Except for NARALO that requires a call for nominations of 30 days before the start of elections on 9 May - NARALO’s call for nominations begins on 9 April 2025) * 14 April - 25 April 2025 - Nomination period (nominations accepted for 10 working days). * 2 May 2025 - Deadline for nomination acceptances. I would like to nominate Pua Hunter for the position of APRALO Vice Chair. While being on the GAC for many years until her resignation as Cook Islands ICT Director, Pua also continued to support APRALO and At-Large activities. She is now the Pacific Director for the Global Forum of Cyber Expertise and I believe she would make a great Vice Chair for APRALO. I would like to nominate *Shah Zahidur Rahman* for the ALAC position. He is eligible for re-appointment, and he has been contributing actively and doing great work especially relating to policy work in ALAC, as demonstrated in WGs such as CPWG and OFB-WG and other ALAC calls. I hope he can have the opportunity to continue to serve another term to represent the interests of end users/individuals in policy and operational matters for the AP region in ICANN. Having worked closely with him for over a decade, I can confidently affirm that Ali is a dedicated leader and an engaged community member.
