Before I nominate anyone I think in my opinion we must seriously look for people who bring new thinking and their availability, unfortunately from past long many of the people on various positions are involved at so many other positions, groups and activities that their focus and time required was not available, unfortunately positions are used for sake of travel funding’s for events and ICANN’s. We must have a change of thoughts now we need to have new think tanks so that our community can get benefited by thoughtful leadership’s. Will share my names for all the positions soon. Dear Diana and Fariz I am concerned about the tone and content of your comments about individuals who have previously been elected to positions by active members of the APRALO community because of their recognised commitment to the work that is required of leadership within the Asia Pacific region. Could you please identify what APRALO or At-Large working groups you have actively participated in and the APRALO, ICANN or Asia-Pacific regional meetings you have attended, alongside our current leaders, so that we can understand how you have come to these conclusions. Dear Maureen Thank you for your response. Firstly my response and all communications are in my individual capacity. I personally don’t know Miss Diana or Miss Laxmi and I don’t know why Diana just texted my comments in her email as well, if she was in support of what I mentioned I am thankful to her and Laxmi About your email, Maureen I have just given my opinion and not pointed any individual who were previously been elected to positions by active members of the APRALO community. The game is visible who nominate whom and then a lobby is made to influence others decisions. Further I am surprised why things become personal here when anyone raise a valid issue and always seen as a questions and given threat to identify prove himself and so on. It’s a community driven group and everyone has that much freedom to give his or her view points. Further regarding my individual active participation please see the presence I have marked at several occasion during various online meeting, in every ICANN event by personal presence and on remote and so on. I can’t comment about anyone else but I don’t like this thing been asked for myself again, same was done last time in when APRALO Individual Representative concern was raised in group and I supported, during that I have already given you detail information of my all APRALO or At-Large working groups where i have actively participated in and the APRALO, ICANN or Asia-Pacific regional meetings which i have attended in past several years. Let’s not again dilute the concern what I mentioned that why people involved at so many platforms and holding positions at multiple places are not stepping forward and giving chance to others instead of just marking a cartel and keep nominating each other every time, what’s the vested interest behind it? Hi Fariz & Maureen Yes I just articulated your views to support as I found them right for the group. And I standby with each word and with what you mentioned in this email, in last few occasions we have noticed what you mentioned. Distress raised by anyone is been diluted for reason best know too few individuals. Instead of addressing that why individuals holding leadership positions in multiple don’t stepping forward and giving chance to others instead of just holding by nominating each other first in mailing list and then influence others to support their nominations. I can’t comment about anyone else but I don’t like this thing been asked for myself again, same was done last time in when APRALO Individual Representative concern was raised in group and I supported, during that I have already given you detail information of my all APRALO or At-Large working groups where i have actively participated in and the APRALO, ICANN or Asia-Pacific regional meetings which i have attended in past several years.
Let’s not again dilute the concern what I mentioned that why people involved at so many platforms and holding positions at multiple places are not stepping forward and giving chance to others instead of just marking a cartel and keep nominating each other every time, what’s the vested interest behind it?

Dear All,, "Statesmanship" is what we are looking for in all contexts where "going public" happens. ICANN is a good avenue for limited scope honing of this skill. In India, there is a distinctive domain called "Public Administration". This is not the same as Administering well regulated and strictly law abiding organizations. ICANN operates over large geographical regions and rightly addresses the "Geopolitics". About your email, Maureen I have just given my opinion and not pointed any individual who were previously been elected to positions by active members of the APRALO community. The game is visible who nominate whom and then a lobby is made to influence others decisions.
Further I am surprised why things become personal here when anyone raise a valid issue and always seen as a questions and given threat to identify prove himself and so on. It’s a community driven group and everyone has that much freedom to give his or her view points. Further regarding my individual active participation please see the presence I have marked at several occasion during various online meeting, in every ICANN event by personal presence and on remote and so on. I can’t comment about anyone else but I don’t like this thing been asked for myself again, same was done last time in when APRALO Individual Representative concern was raised in group and I supported, during that I have already given you detail information of my all APRALO or At-Large working groups where i have actively participated in and the APRALO, ICANN or Asia-Pacific regional meetings which i have attended in past several years.
Let’s not again dilute the concern what I mentioned that why people involved at so many platforms and holding positions at multiple places are not stepping forward and giving chance to others instead of just marking a cartel and keep nominating each other every time, what’s the vested interest behind it?
Rest is on community how wisely they see this thing happening every year and are they not looking for any change in this.
