Hi all, Just thinking out loud. GNSO institutes and pays attention to a system of SOI - Statement of Interest for anyone who joins a GNSO PDP WG. Perhaps At-Large could some how leverage on this to extend SOI item no. 4 (ICANN Affiliation) to include "if you are a member of a RALO, which RALO and which ALS do you represent (if applicable)"? I say "leverage" because you may not want members to do up a duplicate At-Large SOI type profile, to avoid double keying-in and/or inconsistencies. Cheers, Justine -----

Hi all, Further to my earlier email, I just noticed that the APRALO Individual Members application form mandates (approved) members to complete an At-Large SOI (with a hyperlink to an At-Large SOI Workspace). Is this workspace limited to the SOIs for individuals in leadership positions or all individual members only? This At-Large SOI provides for the input on the WGs or chartered teams which a member participates in. This At-Large SOI is separate to the GNSO SOI then? Hi Justine Good thoughts.. I am unsure about where At-Large SOIs are held as opposed to those of the GNSO, etc. With more cross-community collaboration, we are having to complete SOIs, and I have always assumed that they were stored centrally, because when I do an update for At-Large, it is the same SOI I update for any GNSO WGs I may be in, but perhaps staff can confirm this. But it would be helpful for At-Large WGs for everyone to have an SOI so that we (and staff) can keep tabs on ALS and individual membership and participation in any WGs. Thanks Maureen and Justine. We encourage members in leadership positions as well as individual members to create their SOIs and to update it periodically. This is considered a good practice, and helps the rest of the community to know the individual better.
