Danny has taken the initiative to round up some members of the ALAC and I have offered to help him. I think he and this group will be waiting for word on an open list we can use to do a focused, two-week effort to produce something worthwhile that can be presented to the board in order to get the GNSO to reconsider some things in the current document. He suggested that we go into Los Angeles with this in hand rather than wait (as I was thinking of doing) until the actual workshop.
 
So, Jacqueline, issuing a call to order might be an excellent idea, along with the appropriate location of a group list that people can use.

Hi, I don't want to sound rude, but I do have to post a call to order -
if the members of the ALAC are so busy that they cannot devote any time
to the single most important policy issue of the next few months, what
do we have an ALAC for?

Perhaps it's just a matter of getting priorities right.
