The North American School of Internet Governance (NASIG) is pleased to announce the opening of the registration process for the session to be held November 2-4, 2022, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
NASIG 2022 is the only Internet Governance School in North America. It provides an enabling environment for learning and discussing Internet Governance topics.
Registration for the school is free and open to anyone. A maximum of 40 students will be selected to participate in person at EDP University. However, anyone can participate remotely. A few hotel and travel fellowship grants are available for applicants.
This year's theme - Emerging Technologies and Cybersecurity: Impact on Internet Governance – will emphasize the impact of emerging technologies on privacy, cybersecurity, and law enforcement aspects.
NASIG will take place in a hybrid format (virtual and onsite). Only in-person participants will receive a “Certificate of Completion” at the end of the three days of school. All school proceedings will be taught and presented in English by world-renowned Internet experts.
Internet Governance Schools are located around the world. They are organized by a team of local volunteers from business, civil society, and academia.
