Heartiest congratulations to both Jacqueline and Jose.  Even though both are stalwarts of the LAC region, we are certain they are fit for purpose for the entire At-Large world.

I'm about to go into another meeting but I wanted to inform you that at the ALAC meeting last night, Jacqueline Morris was elected Chair of the ALAC, and Jose Ovidio Salgueiro Vice-Chair, both terms lasting until the ICANN AGM in October 2007.

 

The ICANN Staff extend our congratulations to both of them on their election.
