Proposed
Roadmap and

A
ccNSO ad hoc
committee
under auspices
of the ccNSO
Council seeks
feedback on
the proposed
Roadmap for
the ccNSO and
DNS Abuse.
ccTLDs
are invited to
review the
materials
shared here,
and to
participate in
the ccNSO
Members
Meeting DNS
Abuse Session
at ICANN73
on Tuesday, 8
March 2022
(14:30-16:00
UTC) to
discuss the
roadmap and
next steps.
Ahead of the
session,
feedback is
welcome on the
ccNSO mailing
lists.
Roadmap
highlights
The
roadmap is
aligned with
the ccNSO
role. The ad
hoc committee
proposes
creating a
ccNSO DNS
Abuse Standing
Committee
(DASC). In its
activities,
the DASC would
focus on the
following core
elements,
aiming to
create useful
resources/information that ccTLD managers can make use of as they wish,
on a voluntary
basis:
- Enhanced
information
and best
practice
sharing, to
benefit ccTLDs
- Showcase
ccTLD efforts
and reinforce
the message
about the
nature of
ccTLDs and the
role of the
ccNSO
- Explore
DNS Abuse
related
metrics and
other
potential
elements of
the ccNSO
& DNS
Abuse
ecosystem and
related
approaches.
The
Committee
would consist
of ccTLD
representatives
and liaisons
to other
relevant
