Michel will still remain on the Council, as his term will end only at the end of the year 2019 - PIR is now looking for people to replace the councillors whose term has ended, which is not Michel’s case.

One seat is reserved for ALAC, and that is taken currently by Michel Tchonang, but there is no reason why other ALAC members cannot apply, if they fulfil all the requirements.
