As Vanda said it is important to get your input into this survey, However, currently the survey is only open to Members and Participants and not to Observers. Anyone can be a participant, but you must file a specific Statement of Interest prior to joining the working group. The survey regards question 2 of the charter which reads:

"As part of this framework, what will be the limitations of fund allocation, factoring in that the funds need to be used in line with ICANN’s mission while at the same time recognising the diversity of communities that ICANN serves? This should include recommendations on how to assess whether the proposed use is aligned with ICANN’s Mission. Furthermore consideration is expected to be given to what safeguards, if any, need to be in place."

The instructions to the survey ask CCWG members and participants to provide their input on the objectives for fund allocation, factoring in ICANN's mission and legal/fiduciary constraints, as well as what shouldn't be the objective. Do note that the input obtained in response to the survey is intended to pave the way for the CCWG to reach preliminary consensus on this charter question to progress to the next stage of work.

For your convenience, the questions are:  Please list your proposed objective(s) / criteria for fund allocation, factoring in ICANN's mission and legal fiduciary constraints

Based on your response to the previous question, please describe a scenario(s) for which fund allocation would be provided based on your proposed objective(s) / criteria.

Please list what should not be the objective(s) / criteria for fund allocation, factoring in ICANN's mission and legal fiduciary constraints.

Based on your response to the previous question, please describe a scenario(s) for which fund allocation should not be provided based on your proposed objective(s) / criteria.

Are there any other issues the CCWG should consider and/or input you want to provide in relation to this question

Thanks again for sending in your responses to Vanda so she can get them posted

Best,

Judith
