This is just awful news.  He was such a wonderful, generous, intelligent, thoughtful, delightful man. I cherish the many times we spent together and wish we had spent more time in Seattle. My condolences to his family and his many friends and colleagues.

Is there any information on a funeral or memorial? I happen to be in London and would like to pay my respects if possible.
