Dear Colleagues,

some of you might know that last week, Nigel Hickson has announced his departure from ICANN after a restructuring. According to his tweet, "[It] was a great experience working in Brussels and Geneva". I have had the pleasure and honour to work closely with Nigel for many years and wish him all the best for his future endeavours. I hope you will join me in thanking him for his excellent support of the CCWG-IG and the current EGIG.

I have asked ICANN Leadership who will take over Nigel's duties and am currently awaiting a response. In the meantime, please keep updates about Internet Governance processes affecting ICANN flowing onto this group's mailing list.
