The notice below was sent by me to the ALAC Executive Committee Sep 15, following the NARALO conference call meeting that was held the previous day: ---- At the meeting, we received the results of a poll held to determine NARALO member preference regarding candidates for Board Liaision. Both ALSs and unaffiliated individuals were represented in this vote according to our operating procedures. Having considered the results of that poll, NARALO is pleased to put forward TWO candidates for ALAC to consider for Board liaison, in order of preference according to the poll: - Seth Reiss - Alan Greenberg I would also note that some people in the NARALO meeting expressed concern that Seth's relative unfamiliarity to ALAC members might put him at an unfair disadvantage.
