Every year I opine that the AfPIF may be the most valuable event that ISOC hosts. Interconnection, while remaining an esoteric activity, is key to internetworking. This event gives all of us, beyond network operators, a window into its elements. Today sees the formal opening but if you visit the webcast, you'll find yesterday's warm up sessions full of technical presentations.
