Nick and all, I know you mean well here, but this remote access method is quite poor as there is no avaliability for real time interaction as could have been made avaliable had ICANN attempted to contact either Turner Broadcasting or C-Span. In case it is helpful, here is a bit more information about the Public Forum of the ICANN Paris meeting a bit later today.

The forum has been structured to provide short windows of structured time for individual topics, as in the running order below. The poll you will find on the agenda page listed above was used to help ensure that the most important subjects to the community were included.

Since it is a discussion, the times will not be exact but there will be a proactive ending of discussion on a particular topic if it overruns.

The named staff member assigned to lead that topic will provide a discussion slide for that topic. After a brief summary of relevant points related to the subject, the community will them be invited to ask questions. Those questions will be directed to the relevant person, whether staff, Board, SO or AC member, or community member.
