ALAC Dinner Plan - please RSVP
Sorry to bother the worldwide list again ;-) Please indicate if you could join dinner tonight or not. I need to make final numbers and tell the restaurant sometime in the afternoon. I worked out several options and so far the following will serve as the best option for most people here. Since four of our members are leaving tonight, it is best to have it at our hotel, Taj Mahal. I understand some others do want to go out, but that severely limits our number of participation. We can go out later for drink if you really want to. So I made a tentative reservation at Machan (the one we have breakfast) at 1930-1945 to start. For those who are concerned NIck kindly agreed to work on to cover some of the expenses. And for only food, it will cost around $20. The food is international, including local Indian food. ALAC review team people will also join, as well as our friend ShiIavash. I hope this is OK for everyone, but please make any comments if you wish. I have checked with some other local restaurants, here at Taj Palace, but none of them gave better deal and convenience. It's St. Valentine Day and thus tables are getting filled already. thanks, izumi -- >> Izumi Aizu << Institute for HyperNetwork Society, Oita Kumon Center, Tama University, Tokyo Japan * * * * * << Writing the Future of the History >> www.anr.org
I regret that I'll be tied up in the Board dinner, aka planning meeting, and so unable to join you. I hope we can arrange future meeting schedules so there are more times I can join the ALAC's meetings and fun. --Wendy Izumi AIZU wrote:

You can still join in spirit, and bring our sprit to the other side. izumi 2008/2/14, Wendy Seltzer <wendy@seltzer.com>:

I sincerely hope you will succeed. During my tenure as ALAC Liaison to the Board, I have failed, and missed most of the fun. Roberto
yeah, this is too bad. we really have to work on a better schedule giving our liaisons who have to take part in other meetings room to report and discuss with us. but thank you for joining parallel skype chats and mailing lists keeping us at least using those tools up to date. best annette ----- Original Message ----- From: "Wendy Seltzer" <wendy@seltzer.com> To: "Izumi AIZU" <iza@anr.org> Cc: "At-Large Worldwide" <alac@atlarge-lists.icann.org> Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2008 2:57 PM Subject: Re: [At-Large] ALAC Dinner Plan - please RSVP

Thank you Izumi, for keeping up the good tradition of having a dinner together before we take off to all the different regions of the world. I just would like to make sure that everyone understands that the "Machan" is the restaurant in the Hotel Taj Mahal, 1 Mansingh Road. See you all - who are here - there. :-D Annette ----- Original Message ----- From: "Izumi AIZU" <iza@anr.org> To: "At-Large Worldwide" <alac@atlarge-lists.icann.org> Sent: Thursday, February 14, 2008 10:28 AM Subject: [At-Large] ALAC Dinner Plan - please RSVP
