Survey: Many Believe “The Cloud” Requires a Rain Coat
.....um, well, take this with a pinch of salt. 51% believe 'stormy weather would interfere with their cloud computing', the survey gasps! Here's where survey technique comes in play. For depending on the state of mind meaning of 'stormy weather' and even with a tenuous hold on the actual understanding of what cloud computing means, the assumption is defensible! An electrical storm in Washington State the other day caused problems for a couple Google and Amazon data centers that knocked several 'cloud services' offline for awhile. The least you could call these respondents is idiot savants.
