A herd of sheep was determined to craft new policies. They met and collectively resolved that henceforth all wolves would become vegatarians. The wolves responded to the policy declaration by having a nice mutton dinner.

If policies can't or won't be enforced, then there is no point in wasting time on crafting new policy.... and if the ALAC won't bring user concerns to the Board, then why should anyone send their concerns to the ALAC?

Danny, That is not at all accurate! To be accurate, after dinner the wolfs would get a nasty letter telling them to explain why they had a mutton dinner after they had become vegetarians. Then after a several of these letters the wolves would eventually be told not to do that again.
