As per the 2021 IC3 Annual Report released by FBI, the number of complaints related to "Phishing/Vishing/Smishing/Pharming” have been steadily increasing for the last 5 years with an increase of 25% in complaints between 2020 and 2021.
Moreover, in 2021 there were 323,972 victims of Phishing/Vishing/Smishing/Pharming fraud.

ICANN hosts three meetings in a year to bring together the community and discuss important topics. Due to covid last 7 meetings were only virtual. The next meeting in Hague is the first once since 2019 with a physical component.
