Hi Lawrence,

Thank you for the heads up on the newsletter.
In my opinion, in order to make this newsletter a true representative of the hard  work done by our members, we should include the following in this newsletter :
- One small article each about the various topics that the BC is actively pursuing - SSAD, DNS Abuse, EU NIS2, new gTLD round 2 and others. This will help the reader, which will Also be prospective members, get a wider perspective of the BC’s work.  We can float these topics and ask for members to volunteer to write few hundred words on each of the topics.
- The presentation by Graeme Bunton about the Netbeacon project deserves a mention in the newsletter
- We should also highlight some member companies, and welcome new members that have joined the BC recently.
- Pictures of the in-person BC meeting from ICANN74 will be a great addition to the newsletter

Hope these are helpful.

Dear Chair, and members of the Communications Committee,
We are left with barely four weeks to put together a newsletter for ICANN 75. As this is the AGM it is expected to have a larger turnout and wider reach. Kindly help ensure we have a masterpiece from our Constituency.
Kindly find below the timeline proposed for production:
ICANN75 printing requests will be due roughly Thurs., 28 July or Mon., 1 August. This is due to supply and staffing issues for local vendors.  Working back from that due date— these would be our tentative production schedule:
  • Thursday, 14 July: Stories due and sent to Communications Committee to fwd. to Cheryl
  • Thursday, 21 July: First draft of newsletter from Cheryl, BC reviews for edits
  • Thursday, 28 July: BC ICANN75 Newsletter is considered final
  • Friday, 29 July: BC ICANN75 Newsletter is sent to ICANN org
  • Sunday, 18 September: BC Newsletter is published

Comms is asking for these newsletters to be as evergreen as possible (which I know is a balance given it is ICANN75 specific as well).
For favor of your comments before sharing with membership.
Lawrence.
