Hi All,

Please share your feedback on this work. I think he needs to understand that the audience of the BC is not the general public but people who know about these topics quote well and the reason we are making this post is to showcase that there has been a growth in the number of phishing cases which is quite contrary to the findings of the ICANN report.

What do you guys think?

As per the 2021 IC3 Annual Report released by FBI, the number of complaints related to "Phishing/Vishing/Smishing/Pharming” have been steadily increasing for the last 5 years with an increase of 25% in complaints between 2020 and 2021.
Moreover, in 2021 there were 323,972 victims of Phishing/Vishing/Smishing/Pharming fraud.

ICANN hosts three meetings in a year to bring together the community and discuss important topics. Due to covid last 7 meetings were only virtual. The next meeting in Hague is the first once since 2019 with a physical component.
