Dear BC Members,

Please note this is an election announcement for the BC Officer Election 2013. I would like to inform members that the two week nomination period is now closed and I am pleased to announce the outcome of the nomination for the four open positions. 

Nominees for:

  • BC Chair: Elisa Cooper, Nominated by David Fares and seconded by Marilyn Cade
  • Vice Chair, Policy Coordination: Steve DelBianco, Nominated by Susan Kawaguchi and seconded by Chris Chaplow
  • Vice Chair, Finance & Operations: NO NOMINEE
  • CSG Representative: 
    • Marilyn Cade, Nominated by Steve DelBianco and seconded by Ron Andruff
    • Bill Smith, Nominated by Zahid Jamil

Please note that candidate statements are to be sent to the Voting Officer no later than Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013.  

  • Discussion with the candidates is now open on the list until Feb. 19th, 2013. 
  • Voting will begin on Wednesday, Feb. 20th, 2013 and close on Tuesday Feb. 26th, 2013. 


The candidate call will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 19th at 11 am EST. You are encouraged to submit questions for the candidate to bcvotes@hotmail.com in preparation for the candidate call. All questions will be aggregated by the Voting Officer and submitted to the bc-gnso list and to the nominees in preparation for the call.

The candidate call will take place on Tuesday, Feb. 19th at 11 am EST and will be led by the Verifying Officer, the GNSO Secretariat.
