BC members here in Costa Rica are meeting at 12:30 today (Wed) in Heliconia room at the Ramada.   

That's the same room as the Consumer Trust workshop John Berard and I will be leading from 11 – 12:30.

We will discuss BC comments to be made in the public forum and Defensive Application/Registration panel on Thursday.

Subject: Top level list of Defensive Registration proposals

As a follow up to the breakfast meeting this morning regarding the Defensive Registrations of new gtlds session.  A few highlights.

 

1) This session is set for Thursday 3/15 from  1300-1400  in the La Paz A room.

 

2) Kevin Murphy has agreed to be the facilitator of the session.

 

3) Attached please find the list of proposed proposals  that each panelist will be asked to give their reaction to.  As stated this morning this is a very brief summary of the public comment received.   Here is the link http://forum.icann.org/lists/newgtlds-defensive-applications/   to all of the public comments received if you wish to read them all.  The public comment forum was open from February 6 - February 29th.

 

4) We will post on the session  meeting site a brief summary of the comments received shortly.

 

Those who were not able to make the session, I would be happy to meet and to go over what was discussed.
