Many thanks for your votes and continuous support for the BC. Though this is a challenging period for BC with the pending exit of our outstanding Secretariat Officer, I wish to assure you that our Operations will not suffer as I'm convinced that the Excomm (BC Officers and Councilors) will make appropriate decisions for the continuous smooth running of the BC.

In the meantime, I wish to thank the outgoing Vice-Chair (Finance & Operations) Chris Chaplow and the Finance Committee members for their excellent work and support which I believe will continue beyond the transition period. Thanks also to Glen for overseeing the election process.

Again, thank you all, I hope to see many of you in Singapore.

Please find below the election results for the BC’s Officer Elections for 2014. Please note that all votes were tallied by the Voting Officer and checked by the Returning Officer and Verifying Officer.
 
·         Total number of BC Members: 51
·         27 out of 46 eligible members voted.
·         4 BC members are non-voting members, and one member was not eligible to submit a ballot for this election cycle.
 
The results are the following:
 
·         Chair: Elisa Cooper – 59 votes Yes, 1 No, 2 Abstentions.
·         Vice Chair Policy Coordination: Steve DelBianco – 62 votes Yes
·         Vice Chair Finance & Operations: Jimson Olufuye – 58 votes Yes, 2 Abstentions
·         CSG Representative: Marilyn Cade – 49 votes Yes, 5 Abstentions
