ICANN will implement 3 of 4 Strawman rights protection improvements
Good news. ICANN just issued memorandum on Strawman solutions and will implement 3 of the 4 improvements we advocated (link<http://newgtlds.icann.org/en/about/trademark-clearinghouse/strawman-solution...>) 1. 30-day advance notice for Sunrise. Yes 2. Extend TM Claim Notices from 60 to 90 days. Yes 3. "Claims 2" extension of TM notices for 6-12 months. Not at this time. 4. Issue TM Claim notices based on domains previously abused. Yes!
