Dear all, Of possible interest to some members – The European Commission has today launched a consultation on Internet Governance, which will run for 4 weeks. In her blog post of yesterday, Commissioner Kroes recalled recent events that have inspired the consultation, including the EU’s ‘legitimate concerns’ regarding some TLD applications – see http://ec.europa.eu/commission_2010-2014/kroes/en/content/internet-governanc.... The consultation document addresses some ICANN issues and the role of Governments within the GAC.
