Dear Members First, I would like to wish all BC members a very happy new year. Here's to an excellent 2010 for the constituency as it moves into a new phase. As you are aware, the Officers have asked me to continue as Secretariat until the end of February. For clarity, I am now working to a new agreement on a consultancy basis. My responsibilities during this period are: - to manage the nominations and elections for the Executive Committee - to effect a handover to the Executive Committee once elected - to assist in defining the role of a new Secretariat for March 2010 onwards I will be announcing the opening of a nomination period for the Executive Committee elections later today. I will also give an outline of the nomination and election processes according to the new BC Charter. Best wishes Gary
