Mikey transmogrified -- i'm pivoting towards the ISP Constituency
hi all, just a quick note to say "farewell, but i won't be a stranger" to all my friends in the BC. i'm really excited to announce that i'm a mint-fresh member of the ISP Constituency now. a gaggle of us have put together a regional peering point in the upper Midwest of the USA and i'm joining the ISP gang as their representative. check out our geeky web page at; http://micemn.net/ while i'm really excited to be joining the ISP gang, of course i'm also sad to be leaving the BC gang where i've gotten to know so many of you over the year. but i cheer myself up by saying "heck, i'm not going far…" i'll still see y'all in all the usual places -- working groups, CSG, ICANN meetings and of course the bar. on to the administrative stuff. Bene, could you drop me from all da lists? and my departure creates an opening on the Credentials Committee. a pretty cool opportunity actually, since the BC is going to be addressing some interesting puzzles as we work through how "dot-brand" TLDs fit into the mix. thanks all! don't be strangers. my contact info is below. please use it. mikey - - - - - - - - - phone 651-647-6109 fax 866-280-2356 web http://www.haven2.com handle OConnorStP (ID for public places like Twitter, Facebook, Google, etc.)

We'll miss your heavy lifting on the Working Groups, Mikey, not to mention your smooth turn of a phrase on the lists! Glad that you are staying with the ICANN family and wish you well with those ISP boys! ;o) Kind regards, RA Ronald N. Dear Mikey It is with regret that I read your resignation letter to the BC. You have been a wonderful colleague and contributor to the BC, and to ICANN gTLD policy and to other parts of ICANN's work. I know many of our members will join me and other colleagues in thanking you for your long membership in the BC; your work on so many many policy topics, and issues, and for your past friendship and collegiality. On behalf of the BC, I will accept your notice of resignation from the BC. The BC-Secretariat has honored your request to be removed from the BC lists. :-)With apologies if some of us from time to time accidentally use a personal string that includes you, but it is only because your involvement in the BC's policy work was so deep. And so much appreciated. I know we missed you at the BC huddle on Sat and Sun night. All the best in your new constituency. Our ISP colleagues are longstanding friends and another place for involvement and contribution. So, we count on seeing you in the CSG. Best wishes Marilyn Cade
