Had a good call this AM with the Outreach Team followed by excellent calls with Pablo Rodriguez of .PR/the PR Chamber and Chris Mondini.

We have arranged a meeting with Alicia Amboy and Miguel Vargas (Executive Director) of the PR Chamber on Saturday (10th) 3PM at the venue, exact location TBD.  Chris Mondini will join as will Pablo, whose title with the Chamber is President of the Telecommunications and Technology Committee (in addition to his many duties with .PR, the organizing committee etc).

This is honestly the best we could have hoped for — we’ll get in front of key decision makers early and will have the chance to plot out the best approach with them based on the week and how they see their members most likely to participate.

Not sure how many people will be in SJ at that time, but it certainly would be nice to have a good turnout from Excomm and OC.  My suggestion is to see how many of us are available before opening this initial “get to know you” meeting open to others, as I think we’ll have other opportunities during the week to meet.  

Please tell me if you’re interested/available and I will create a separate list to do logistics from there.
