I am in the opening ceremony. wearing a red jacket.

Chris, would you mention in the closed BC meeting that in tomorrow's CSG meeting, I will have the Memory book and Journal for Glen for personalized notes to her for all to consider writing a personal note in.

It is journeying then through the CCNSO tomorrow afternoon, and then onto the Registry and Registrar event to recognize Glen Tuesday evening.   All I need is a heads up for folks to start thinking:

The theme of the Memory book and the Journal is: When [and where} in the world did YOU meet Glen de St. Gery?

I am encouraging people who have known Glen a long time to take selfies with her, DO NOT  tell her why, but just to do it, and then  tweet it.  Or, you can forward it to me, as I am also compiling a running set of online pics for her to add to the Memory Book.

Hi Marilyn,

Happy to help.

Let me know when and where to meet, and I can bring some to you. Perhaps after the opening ceremony?

Also, I left a pile of BC newsletters in the GNSO room, on the back table if someone is nearby that room.

Kind regards,
Chantelle

Thanks, Chris.

As I understand it, the lunch is set up as round tables, with people scattered at different tables. It is discussions informally at the table, over lunch, so perhaps it is okay to have more than one BC attendee. :-)

We've given out around 30+ BC brochures throughout the day, both through Lawrence and Omar and I being at the Newcomers booth, or in person through direct engagement and conversation.

Jimson/Chantelle, can either Lawrence or I pick up more BC brochures from you early in the day, so we can take around 40 with us? We can then return those not picked up to the Newcomers booth. I'll at at the Newcomers Booth for a couple of hours. Omar and Lawrence have both already spent some considerable time there.

Thanks, Marilyn.

In preparation for this lunch, I asked Lawrence to attend "on behalf" of the BC in lieu of me, as I am needed at the BC meeting. FYI for all.

Of course, BC Members are free to attend whichever event they want.

I will also regret missing the BC meeting. I am attending the Business newcomers lunch. I think that there are about 20+ newcomers who identify themselves as with business [one kind or another].

I have been reviewing tomorrow's schedule and note that the joint meeting of the GNSO and ccNSO Councils takes place at 12:15 pm, the same time as the BC meeting. Therefore I will be unable to attend the BC meeting and wanted to make sure you all knew of this conflict.
