I offer my support for this.
WITSA has been a long standing member in the past, and actually left partly due to the high cost of dues for associations. While headquarters are in the US, WITSA's membership reach is quite unique and reaches some countries that the BC otherwise has no membership in. For example, recently, WITSA held its Board meeting in Nepal, and through contacts that I have there, an interaction with the national IGF organizing committee emerged for the ICT association of Nepal.
It would be very useful to regain their active membership in the BC. Just a quick look at the map/list of members that Jimson shared is impressive for us to consider. With our new dues structure at the national level, I think that we could recruit 4+ WITSA members, as well as WITSA.
This would significantly impact our diversity in countries that we cannot reach otherwise.
