Hello Tijani, Many thanks for your email. First, i confirm my membership of this working group once again. It is my understanding that the KSK rollover is a key part of a process within the ICANN community in terms of the encryption, security and resilience. While i have looked at the the ICANN website to check for a timeline on the possible date for a rollover, ( https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/ksk-rollover/#timeline) their is none at the moment. My suggestion is that either way, the Webminar on the KSK rollover can be planned for the first quarter for sensitization while reference materials can also be designed for ICANN E-Learning platform. I'm writing this email from a newbie and newcomer's perspective because most newbies to the ICANN process needs to have a clear understanding of the process and what it means for the stability of the ecosystem. While the GDPR has been discussed at a high level of panel sessions and the fact that it got a well deserved attention within the community at the last meeting. I would not know if a webminar specifically on this has been conducted. The implication of the compliance and regulatory fine and impact on registries needs sensitization also within the process of ICANN community at the capacity building level. Also, i understand that the RDS will replace WHOIS as a result of the enforcement of the GDPR in 2018 this topic and sensitization needs to be considered and discussed extensively even for registries. *On IDNs* which give users around the world the ability to access the web in their native tongue, making it easier for them to discover/remember websites and promote local content via service providers likely in their own countries. I strongly feel it should be a unique topic if it has not been covered. This is imperative in the sense that ICANN is taking indigenous folks more serious in the capacity inclusion within the community. As we are approaching the new year, I would like to ask you please to provide the topics you believe are for interest to our community to learn about or top deepen its knowledge.
For 2017, we programmed 9 webinars, but we skipped the one about the KSK keys roll over because the rollover that was planned for October 2017 has been postponed, and we wanted the webinar to be close to the event for the best effect, and now, we are also skipping another webinar about Current Security Trends Impacting Registrants and End-Users because the speakers couldn?t make it. they promised to do it in 2018.
On the other hand, I would like you to confirm your will to continue being member of the WG by 15 December 2017. I will also open a call for membership for other people who want to join. By 15 December, we will have the new composition of the CB WG. In January 2018, we will have a call to welcome the newcomers and to select the chair of the WG (the current one can be or not be selected for a new term).
In summary, please give a list of topics for the 2018 program and confirm your membership by 15 December 2017.

I support both of these topics as I sense lack of operating knowledge about these in the community. In the RDS, it might also be worth explaining the different between the WHOIS and the RDAP protocol, because that's in essence what RDS is. Kindest regards, Olivier

I would also like to propose another webinar on ISO 3166 on country codes, it would be good for the community to understand the process of assigning country codes and how they are retired.
