Ron wishes to advise his dear colleagues and friends that sadly he will be unable to physically attend the Dakar ICANN meeting.
 
On September 23rd Ron underwent serious emergency spinal surgery which has left him unable to travel at that time. He is recovering well. His mind is clear. He will attend and participate in the Dakar meeting remotely, but he deeply regrets his inability to physically attend.

Ron sends his regards to all and will be in personal contact as soon as he is well enough to do so.
