Dear ccNSO colleagues from the European region,
(and sorry for spamming the other ccNSO members)
First and foremost I would like to thank Hilde Thunem from Norid and Andreas Musielak from Denic for having nominated and seconded me as candidate for the ccNSO
Council elections. But also a special word of thanks for Annebeth Lange (Norid) and Stephan Welzel (Denic) for their enthusiasm when I informed them of the idea of potentially running as candidate for the ccNSO Council.
I have been quite overwhelmed by the results of the election and I want to thank all of you for the massive support you have given me. It makes me very anxious
to start my activities in the ccNSO Council next year.
I won’t take much of your time but I just wanted to reiterate what I’ve said during the Q&A at the ccNSO session in Dublin. I’m a firm believer that I should
be an enabler in the ccNSO Council rather than somebody who wants to chase his own agenda topics. This means that we need to work together closely in the future. I will do my very best to provide you with updates and news and reach out to collect your views
and ideas. But this also means that I’m dependent on your ability and willingness to share your ideas and concerns. So, I hope that you won’t hold back from contacting me, either by mail, telephone or in person during meetings, coffee breaks, cocktails or
other network events.
I’m really looking forward to work with all of you the next couple of years.
