Introduction
During the ccNSO meeting the results of the review process of the Fast Track were presented and issues discussed, in particular the issues pertaining to string confusion. The meeting welcomed an initiative to seek further clarity and assistance for current and future IDN ccTLD Fast Track applicants regarding the string confusion evaluation of the Fast Track process.?
Resolution?
The ccNSO council requests IDN ccPDP WG1 to develop, as soon as possible, guidelines (within the framework of the existing rules for the Fast Track) to improve the predictability of the evaluation relating to string confusion as defined in the IDNC Final Report and the Final Implementation report as adopted by the ICANN Board in November 2009.
