3. GNSO Cross Community Working Group Principles

At its meeting in Costa Rica the GNSO supported proposed principles cross community WG’s. Other SO/AC are invited to comment upon these principles until 12 May. The GNSO Drafting Team provided the Draft Principles for Cross-Community Working Groups early January 2012: http://gnso.icann.org/drafts/draft-principles-for-cwgs-23dec11-en.pdf

Discussion of principles, is comment needed? If so, how to organise (Council, ccNSO Statement, other?)

4. Security and Stability Review Team Draft Report, including draft recommendations

The Security and Stability Review Team published its draft Final report during the Costa Rica. Public comment is open until 30 April 2012. The ccNSO members of the SSRT are: Simon McCalla and Ondrej Filip.

Since the San Jose meeting, Programme WG had one teleconference. The

WG went through the meeting survey and discussed all the received

feedback. We decided to improve the surveys to get better data and we

also decided to try to motivate people to participate on surveys. We

started to draft popular panel discussion.

5.8 IDN PDP Working Group 1

5.9 IDN PDP Working Group 2

WG met on Thursday in Costa Rica.

There still are 2 options with regard to "one vote per ISO-3166"

or "per more flexible unit."

During its future few conference calls, WG will discuss and

decide which kind of document will be submitted to Council

1) 2 options with major support and minor sopport are both

   described and Council will vote on which is favorable

2) WG will converge to one option before its submission to

   Council
